Department Description
		The Oracle PeopleSoft business unit is a global development organization responsible for the strategic direction and delivery of new and existing releases for its Human Capital Management, Financial Management Solution, Supply Chain Management, Customer Relationship Management, Enterprise Performance Management and PeopleTools product lines and technology.
Brief Posting Description
		Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
Detailed Description
		As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Job Requirements
		Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
Additional Details
		Responsibilities include but not limited to: Functional Analysis for the issuesreported by customers for Financials suite, which includes General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Billing,Cash Management,Treasury Management, eSettlements, eBill Payment and handle customer escalations. Shouldhave a good understanding of one of the following accounting or procure-to-pay or order-to-cash business processes. Ability to developa solid understanding of integrations between these suite of product to other products like PO,Assets, Projects, HCM etc. as well as their interaction with third-party products.  Ability to takeincreasing responsibilityfor functional design of new product features, including developing mockup userinteraction designs, writing detailed functional design documents and describingfunctional behavior for interaction for warning and error conditions. Basic understanding of SDLCprocess and data models used in ERP applications design and development.Participated in design, functional analysis and review of product developmentfeatures. Additional Details: Candidates with prior experience inPeopleSoft application support and development, working knowledge of PeopleTools and SQL would be a plus. Testing Skills - Unit testing of ERPapplications developed. Create and build test cases and relate to customer business scenarios/cycles. Formal training in usability designis a plus. Solid verbal and writtencommunication skills is essential.
