Even though we have enabled the Global Alert on customer shipments, there is one more step that needs to be performed.

In the order header there is a field titled “Alert on Shipment”. This box must be checked if you desire to be notified when the product ships for this particular sales order. So, if you desire to be notified via email when the order ships, please check this box in the header.
