SAP Security Administrator - Shanghai

Job Description:

The SAP Security Analyst is responsible for supporting all security related activities for the company’s SAP global systems.  Will work with regional technical and business teams to help design, implement, and support security in multiple SAP Environments.  Landscape includes ECC 6.0, Business Intelligence, Solution Manager, Enterprise Portal, CRM, GRC 5.3, Java stacks, and other SAP applications to meet expanding business requirements.  Must be familiar with control requirements (IT, SOX, SoD, etc.).  Must communicate English fluently in both verbal and writing.  

Job Responsibilities:

Implement company policies and procedures designed strategy to prevent the introduction of compliance violations.  Communicate and enforce SAP Best Practices

Design, build, implement and support SAP security roles and profiles for each named user involved in the enterprise systems implementation for ECC (FI, MM, SD, LO), BI, CRM (sales, service, marketing), Solution Manager, GRC (CUP, RAR, SPM), and Bolt-On systems.  

Must demonstrate Business Process Design understanding and have comprehensive experience with SAP Profile Generator Tool, advanced skills related to Authorization Concept for R/3 and component systems.

Requires 3 years experience working with SAP Security along with a Bachelor degree. Security implementation or re-design experience desired.  Must demonstrate excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate understanding of complex IT Security integration including Identity Management.

Participate in the implementation of new SAP security requirements to meet expanding business requirements. This includes understanding business requirements, translating them into security deliverables, building the security, doing unit testing, then working with business on testing and implementing.

Participate in daily monitoring and problem resolution of all the SAP systems for security issues.  Assist in the development and update of procedures and policies for the efficient operations of the SAP systems.  Must be able to work problem tickets and work queues and respond to user issues quickly and efficiently.

Write test plans, participate in creating the user rights authorization process (from request to provision) and will provide security education.

The Security Analyst will meet with business functional teams, supporting teams and Internal Audit to create security roles according to a designed strategy to prevent the introduction of SOX compliance violations.

Provide support for US projects, at times on US schedules on need basis.

Participate in 24x7 SAP security on call rotation support (if needed)

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Must communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing in order to provide clear, concise communication to Management, Basis team members, and others

Technical Hands on knowledge of  SAP ECC 6.0, BI7.0, BIA, SM7.0, PI7.1, EP7.0, J2EE, SCM/APO, MDM, HCM/HR, SRM, UNIX, network, Oracle. Web tools, enterprise system management, tools and trends.

Bachelor's or higher level degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related discipline with project management and technical experience.

Experience must include about  five (5) years of Information Technologies experience, about  three (3) years SAP security experience.

Certification in SAP is preferred.
