The IBM Connections 3.0.1 Files Plug-in for Lotus Notes provides the following features:

Upload files for your own use or to share with others
Drag and drop an attached file or a file from your desktop to Files
Drag and drop or copy and paste a file from Files to your desktop
Send an HTML link to a file
Search for files
Sort files for easier browsing
Open Connections Files in a browser

The IBM Connections 3.0.1 Files Plug-in for Lotus Notes supports:

IBM Lotus Connections 2.5 (latest fixpack)
IBM Lotus Connections 3.0
IBM Connections 3.0.1
IBM Lotus Notes 8.5.1 FP5
IBM Lotus Notes 8.5.2 FP1, FP2*, FP3, FP4 (FP3 or later is recommended)
IBM Lotus Notes 8.5.3 (includes SPNEGO support)
Microsoft Windows XP SP3 (32-bit)
Microsoft Windows Vista SP2 (32-bit)
Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 (32-bit, 64-bit toleration)
Apple Mac OS X 10.5, 10.6, 10.7 (New in this release)

* requires Interim Fix 1 for Notes 8.5.2 Fix Pack 2 (852FP2IF1).

Note: If you plan to install both the IBM Connections Status Updates plug-in and the IBM Connections Files plug-in for your Notes client, make sure they are both the same version. Running different versions of these plug-ins together is not supported.

if you install the original 3.0.1 version (from July 2011) of the Status Updates plug-in, make sure you install the original 3.0.1 version (from July 2011) of the Files plug-in.
if you install the latest 3.0.1 version (from December 2011) of the Status Updates plug-in, make sure you install the latest 3.0.1 version (from December 2011) of the Files plug-in.

December 7, 2011: IBM has posted an updated plug-in which resolves several issues reported by customers, including the addition of Domino SSO support.
