Key Responsibilities/Areas of Accountability: · Responsible for handling technical support problems in the context of the global ERP operations and/or MES and Time Entry applications. This includes taking calls verbally or in written context. This can include investigating technical integration issues between feeder systems and the ERP systems and ERP bug fixing. · Required to take ownership of the problem to ensure its proper completion within second tier troubleshooting, following up with the end user and entering calls into the call tracking system database. · Collaborating with co-workers from different teams to research issues, find solutions and talking with programmers to explain software errors or to recommend changes to programs. · Assisting with the creation of software specifications for bug resolution. Testing software enhancement or bug resolution. · Where required, coordinating the change management process surrounding the software changes. · Assisting with the creation of or modifications to end-user training manuals and procedures. Included as well assisting with the development of training materials, such as exercises and visual displays. · Possibility to be resource on small/large project initiatives. Technical/Professional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: If appropriate, identify the specific technical/professional skills, knowledge and · 2-5 ERP Tier Two Support · Business Objects Report Writer experience is a plus. · Presentation skills are a plus. · Experience in classroom training or one-on-one training is a plus. · Fluent English speaking and writing - Education (Indicate required and/or preferred education for this job.) Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Business Administration.
