Oracle EBS PM (ORACLE PRACTICE / MANAGER for China Region)

Based in China this individual will be the “Pre Sales/ Delivery Manager ” to the sales team responsible for offerings in Oracle Practice in the China.  This senior level individual must work with the sales team as well as the recruiting team to help identify new opportunities and resources.  A business development, solution selling and delivery background is a must.  

The following are the skills /criteria expected of the candidate. These also reflect the nature of responsibilities and duties of the candidate.

Responsibilities:

l  Responsible for managing the offshore delivery of Oracle EBS implementation and Upgrade project, focus on ORACLE EBS, OTM and WMS.

l  Responsible for building the technical competency in Oracle EBS development area;

l  Responsible for goal setting and performance review for subordinates;

l  Managing client relationship;

l  Provide support to sales process, proposal preparation, estimation, presentation and etc.

Requirements:

l  8-12 yrs. of Oracle Apps Experience or 6-10 years of Oracle experience with 5-10 years of other industry experience;

l  Previously managed strong relationships with multiple clients and identified new business opportunities that lead to a minimum of $1 – 2 M worth of work;

l  Understands of Oracle Core ERP modules in MFG, FIN and Distribution and communicates this with all prospects and China clients;

l  Successfully previously managed and delivered 4 to 5 or more Oracle turnkey projects;

l  Has managed and delivered Oracle projects independently;

l  Successfully handles negotiations at all levels;

l  Have consistently established trust with clients and leverage that to provide solid quality solutions to the client;

l  Have previously written and executed upon Statement of Work for Oracle Services;

l  Be able to establish a reference able customer base by working closely with the customer;

l  Excellent English communication skills;

l  Base in Shanghai, and can accept travel;

Desirable:

l  Communicated and presented to multiple prospects at the C-level ;

l  High level understanding / awareness of VCP / VCE modules;

l  Experience of working with Offshore ( India) is preferable;

l  Able to mentor and coach individuals in becoming leaders and mentors themselves;

l  Provides a leadership role in developing company Intellectual Property;

l  Conceptualize technology, business solutions and implementation methodology and process;

l  Understands the new emerging technologies and communicates with the sales team and customers;

l  PMI certification, Project management certification ;

l  Understanding of the China services market;
