职位要求

This position will be responsible for software quality assurance testing of a large engineering information and document management product. The applicant duties include writing and implementing quality assurance and validation projects. The applicant will be part of a software development team and will have frequent interaction with other members of the PP&M organization.

Job Description

·
Under minimum supervision analyze, design, develop and implement quality theory, methods and techniques in the investigation and solution of a complex engineering information and document management software product.

·
May plan or direct quality assurance projects or major phases of validation projects.

·
Assignments require the use of independent judgment and the full use and application of quality assurance principles, theories and concepts.

·
Develop test scripts using engineering information and document management domain knowledge and/or work experience.

·
Describe and/or document all identified defects in the software.

·
Run pre-defined tests, both manual and automated, and report results.

·
Must provide technical guidance to other employees.

·
Contacts are primarily an agile software development team and other members of the PP&M organization.

Work Experience

·
Minimum of 6 or more years experience testing engineering information management and/or document management systems.

·
Experience with SmartPlant Foundation and SmartPlant Enterprise products is preferable.

·
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop operating systems, Oracle and SQL Server is preferable.

·
Scripting experience is required and/or executing Automated Test Procedures (ATPs).

·
Work experience in a multi-national company and experience in working with offshore teams, especially from English speaking countries.

·
Experience in using Siebel or any other CRM is preferable.

·
Work experience in an agile software development team is preferable.

Skills         

·
Applicant will ideally have test skills using Quick Test Pro, Microsoft Lightweight Test Automation Framework, Microsoft Windows Automation and/or Quality Center.

·
Thorough domain knowledge in engineering information and document management, preferably in the process plant or marine industries

·
Excellent written and spoken English skills required

·
Excellent team orientation

Qualification

·
Requires bachelors degree in a related discipline, with 6 or more years of quality assurance experience.
