Errors
APP-PAY-51717

Symptoms
APP-PAY-51717 is raised when creating new salary proposal for future terminated employees.


Cause
If the current salary element has an end date that is not the end of time or the last effective end date of the assignment or the end date of the period of service (final process date as mentioned while terminating), the above error is raised.
Fix
Apply patch 3740583

New info : HUWANJUN : now i have workround this issiue.because the very
employee has changed department so the effect start assigment date has changed
to the change date.but the first proposal date was before the new assignment
date.so error happen.
my wordround fix:
1.delete all the proposal.
2.add all proposal,but make sure that the first start date is not before the
new assignment date.
the fault is :
the proposal history from the old assignment date to the new assignment date
is lost.

History will not be maintained.Alternatively, you can setup audit Trail in case you want to keep the history.You can refer to Note: 111786.1 - "A Guide to Set Up Of Audit Trail In Oracle HRMS" for more information on
the same.
