Cognos配置 - 用户访问权限

在Cognos Portal中，我对不用的用户设置了不同的权限，但为什么所有用户登陆后，好像权限设置没用，看到的东西还都一样。比如我设置了某文件夹用户Test1不能查看，但我用Test1登陆后还能查看。

在启动服务之前需要先对Cognos configuration设置一下：Security - Authentication - Restrict access to members of the built-in namespace? 设置为True，再启动服务。



成功配置cognos的安全验证后，登陆的时候会有用户验证页面出现。如下图



（注意:如果用户安全配置成功后，但没出现该页面，可以在cognos configuration设置，Security - Authentication - cognos - allows anonymous access？设置为false）

然后输入用户名和密码进入到主页后，选择 Tools - Directory -
Users, Groups, and Roles - cognos - 系统管理员，把里面"任何人"这个用户删除掉。
  


注意：删除"任何人"这个用户时可能会提示Unable to remove all the members from this group.此时你可以先添加一个用户，如Administrator，然后就可以删除“任何人”这用户了。

如下图：绿色框里是新添加的用户，红色框里是要删除的用户“任何人”。



删除“用户管理员”下的“任何人”后，用不同的用户登陆就可以看到不同的东西了（前提要对这些用户进行不同配置，比如看不同的报表，或者隐藏Query Stdio这些工具）。



题外记
在文档《Cognos(R) 8 Administration and Security Guide》中提到
Systems Administrator（用户管理员）
This is a special role. Members of this role are considered root users or super users. They may access and modify any object in the content store, regardless of any security policies set for the object. Only members of the System Administrators role can modify the membership of this role.
所以一定要System Administrators的用户才可以删除System Administrators里的用户，而且System Administrators里最少要有一个成员存在。

这一简单的配置问题郁闷了我很久，我学习cognos有一个多月了，都是自己看文档，找资料。所以琢磨了大半天还没找到东南西北。但今天终于弄出来了，我深深感受学习cognos最好的资料还是cognos自带的帮助文档，但就是英文，看起来太郁闷了。
今日特写此博一篇，与大家分享。改天再把之前的心得一一写出与大家分享。
