Why are cheques not printed in a new Cheque for Payment template which has been created and saved as default?

In the 'Cheques for Payment' window (Banking -> Outgoing Payments -> Cheques for Payment), a new print layout template has been designed & saved as default for all users. However, when the cheque is printed the new template is not used.  



The most common reason for this occurrence is that the new print template has not been set as default for the House Bank account that is used for issuing that cheque.
To set a print template as default, proceed as follows:
1. Access Administration -> Setup -> Banking -> Banks. Note the 'Bank Code' of the bank using the cheque series.

2. Go to the House Bank Accounts --> Setup. In the 'Template Name' field, select the name of the newly defined Print Layout Template.

If all banks use this template, then the template should be selected for all banks in the 'Template Name' field.
