The 'Valid Until' field of the Sales Quotation is by definition 30 days after the posting date. Moreover, the quotation 'Valid Until' date is not determined  the payment terms.


In order to change the predefined 'Valid Until' date to any other number of days or months , define a formatted search field which retrieves the required date by utilising a query.
For Example, if the 'Valid Until' date should be 6 months after the posting date then the query below should be applied:

SELECT dateadd(mm ,6, $[$10.1.date])
Save the query to the 'Query Manager'. Then create a Formatted Search' based on 'Search by Saved Query' and select the saved query. The 'Formatted Search' can be activated on the 'Customer/Vendor Ref. No.'. This implies that when a Business Partner code is selected in the 'Customer' field that the date will automatically update according to the query in the formatted search.
