When a customer has components of its organization in different countries,Must all company codes use the same chart of accounts?

in everest yes allcompanies are using the same chart of account as the main chart of account. It is a corporate choice (non negociable). for local accounting by contry there  is a local chart of account (alternative chart of account). you can not directly post on the alternative account but only on account of the main chart of account. account of the main chart of account are mapped in the account master data to the alternative account. loca legal report can be then produce by dispalying the alternative account instead of the the main account.
