Roles and Responsibilities of SAP business application analyst Acquire business process knowledge and understand the current state of business environment
Get familiarize with the SAP Global Common Template
Participate and contribute in the initiating and planning phase of the project during the as-is, detailed requirements gathering workshops
Develop future state
processes leveraging existing processes
Perform Gap-Fit Analysis to finalize development scope
Develop Data conversion strategy and plan
Test and Demonstrate system solutions in SAP sand Box
Prepare CMD's for change requests, test incidents and production incidents and coordinate the needed approvals
Documentation of the configuration according to their categories in the form of predefined templates
Perform Configuration in SAP in Development systems
Understand and cross functional integration
Prepare test scripts/modify existing scripts for testing the configured scenarios. Testing may also include Unit testing, System Integration Testing, Performance Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing.
Perform Unit testing in development systems
Perform Integration testing in Quality systems
Assist business in the User Acceptance phase and resolve issues raised thereof
Provide consulting support to business users to help explore and leverage the existing functionality in SAP GCT
Updation of project status to Project Manager & other concerned persons
Maintain excellent communication among various members of the project and stake holders such as project manager, peers, technical consultants, business SME's, power users, end users.
Prepare training material and TDD's for new functionality developed
Train the trainers(SAP Power users/Key users) so that the power users/key users can train the end users
Work with other supporting teams such as RICEF, EDI, Security, EAI teams
Data load in Quality systems using Delphi's standard data conversion tools that are already available
Participate in the dry run activities
Participate in the cutover activities
Support go live and first month end closing
Support critical and Urgent production issues if time permits
Requirements Minimum 4 years experience as SAP functional consultant
Fluency in English Language is mandatory
Should be a certified SAP consultant
Nice to have Automotive Industry specific knowledge with SAP best practices
Experience in non SAP ERP such as QAD/Mfg Pro is an added advantage
